Back again at Shannon airport. It's even more fun here at 8am in the morning. I've resorted to purchasing clutch bags from duty free.

I love lots of things:fresh bread, winter, my job (no, really), Sharon Osbourne, rotisserie chicken, compliments. But my God, above all things I love Primark. I love it to the extent that I made my long suffering mother drive me from Cranleigh to Reading, which is about 90 minutes, because the nearest Primark wasn't the *best* Primark.

The best thing about it is that it lets you try all sorts of trends that you've instantly ruled out when flicking through magazines. Case in point: skinny jeans. I'll never get mistaken for Jodie Kidd, and I'm firmly of the belief that you should dress to your strengths. So, straight legged jeans have always been a no no. But for £12 I bought some, as well as some proper 80s booties (another none usual purpose) and it turns out I love them. With an oversized jumper (£8), I look like Debbie Harry. Or at least I do in my head.
