What are 5 things you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
My life seems to have changed so much in the last 3 months that the thought of changing anything else scares the hell out of me. But, for the sake of arguement, these are on the list:
- Learn to drive. Let's face it, I can't go on scamming rides forever now can I?
- Buy a house. Actually, what I mean by that is convince someone to buy me a house.
- Get my three blind mice eyes lasered. I don't have three eyes you understand - I'm as blind as those said three mice.
- Find some nice young man to keep me in the manner to which I would like to become acustomed. Still, in the meantime there's Paul, Leonie and Adam, and they're a more than adequate replacement, although not much good at keeping me.
- Learn to be less flippant. And sarcastic. And generally stop taking the piss out of people. This is the least likely to happen, unless I lose my tongue in a freak combined harvester accident. Still, you can hope.
What is your favorite children's movie?
There's a significant majority of my childhood I suspect that I've made up, and Babes in Toyland is just one part of it. In my head, it's got Keanu Reeves dressed up as a character in Toyland, who has to guide Drew Barrymore around, as she has mysteriously ended up ithere after hitting her head in Cinncennati. Suffice to say, it's akin to Return to Oz in pure random fright levels.
What books are on your nightstand?
I'm completely knackered this morning, thanks to The Devil Wears Prada. I started it yesterday morning, and thought it was badly written, over-branded and wasn't going anywhere. 2.30 this morning, and I finished the last page. Turns out I can't resist a good chick lit read.
Can I answer the nerdiest thing about me question? I'll assume yes.
It's undoubtably the fact that I'm officially rocking the geek chic look at the moment, with my new watch. It's got no numbers on it, instead being based on binary code. This means that to find out the hours and the minutes you have to add up the dots lit up (eith 32,16, 8, 4 or 2) to get to the total. This means I hardly ever look at the time, because it's too damn difficult. But it's so much better than your average watch.
